SheBudgets

A financial literacy program focused on building confidence, decision-making,
and practical money skills.

Financial learning that
builds confidence for
everyday decisions

SheBudgets is a financial literacy program that equips girls aged 8–15 with the knowledge and skills to better understand money, make informed decisions, and build confidence in everyday financial situations.

Through interactive workshops and practical learning materials, girls explore financial concepts in ways that are age-appropriate, engaging, and relevant to their lives. From needs and wants to saving, planning, and budgeting, SheBudgets helps girls develop a strong foundation for financial decision-making early on.

Knowledge

Girls learn core financial literacy concepts such as saving, spending, budgeting, and distinguishing between needs and wants. They begin to understand how money works in everyday life and why financial skills matter.

Confidence

Through guided activities and discussion, girls build confidence in talking about money, making choices, and expressing their ideas. They begin to see themselves as capable of managing money and making thoughtful decisions.

Decision-Making

Girls develop practical skills to plan, prioritize, and make responsible financial choices. They leave with tools they can use in real-life situations, both now and as they grow older.

Practical tools that extend financial learning beyond one session

The workshops build core understanding, while the financial literacy kit helps girls continue practicing and applying what they learn.

Workshops

SheBudgets workshops introduce girls aged 8–15 to financial literacy through interactive, age-appropriate learning. Participants explore everyday topics such as saving, budgeting, spending choices, and financial decision-making through practical activities and guided discussion. The workshops are designed to make financial learning accessible, engaging, and relevant, while helping girls build confidence in using these skills in their own lives.

Financial Literacy Kit

The Financial Literacy Kit extends learning beyond the workshop by providing girls with simple, practical tools to continue exploring financial concepts independently or with support from parents, teachers, or community organizations. The kit is designed to reinforce key lessons from the workshop and support continued reflection, practice, and confidence-building around money management and financial choices.
